Ryan Schoepp is a Principal Solution Consultant supporting federal agencies and regulated enterprises in modernizing agreement workflows, data governance, and compliance automation. He brings more than two decades of hands-on experience designing and operating large-scale agreement and metadata-driven systems across insurance, federal, and highly regulated commercial environments.

Prior to joining DocuSign, Ryan spent 12 years building and operating Nationwide Insurance’s DocuSign Center of Excellence, where he led enterprise governance for digital agreements at scale and supported adjacent platforms including FileNet, Informatica, Tridion, Paxata, and GIS systems. This work required integrating agreement workflows with content management, data quality, and analytics platforms while maintaining auditability and regulatory alignment over long operational lifecycles.

At DocuSign, Ryan has spent seven years in progressively senior roles, including Senior Technical Customer Success Manager, Senior Customer Success Architect, and his current role as Principal Solution Consultant – Federal. In this capacity, he works directly with federal agencies and regulated organizations to design API-driven architectures that automate compliance at the point of agreement ingestion, ensuring that critical metadata, policy controls, and audit artifacts persist throughout the data lifecycle.

Ryan’s work emphasizes repeatable governance patterns, measurable operational outcomes, and architectures that bridge administrative workflows with scientific data repositories and legacy systems. His experience spans cross-sector implementations that have reduced administrative latency by up to 40% while improving consistency, transparency, and compliance reliability—supporting secure, unlimited-release research environments aligned with FAIR data principles.
